We don't recommend memory foam products for children. We normally associate memory foam with ideas of revolutionary comfort for adult sleepers. Toddlers and young children don’t adapt well to memory foam material; they need extra support as they inch ever taller, which means the perfect mattress should be a little more rigid and temperature regulating than memory foam. Memoflex and High-Density Reflex Foam, coil, sprung and natural fibre designs are a (better) tip top choice, soft to the touch, breathable as well as being firm and durable.
The short answer is: yes. A longer answer may encompass the perils of a toddler’s slumber time i.e. bed-wetting, spills, and allergic reactions to their environment. Protectors have evolved long past the point of simple items devoid of comfort, and they’re pretty much essential nowadays.
Since all bed types require a solid foundation for sleep, you need to ensure your child’s bed and mattress marry in perfect harmony. Thankfully, Cuckooland has done the hard work for you, and pretty much all of our kids’ beds fit our standard sized mattresses.
